Basic design question

Post By:user_48166 | Reply

Hey guys

I have a issue I want to sort with my design on the homepage, it is a issue with the module layout. The website is at

www.quadscene.co.nz

I would like the "latest products" module to span the same length as the "featured products" module, also while being able to keep its responsive layout.

I know that the space on the right of the latest products module is for another module aligned to the right. But I would much prefer the latest products module to span the entire length of the page.

Is this possible. I wouldn't imagine it would be too hard!

Any help much appreciated!

take a look at stylesheet.css

Code: Select all

205: .tabs {float: left; width: 750px;}

Thanks, I managed to get that far using firefoxes built in inspect element option and changed that class to

Code: Select all
205: .tabs {float: left; width: auto;}

Overwrite, and no change

Thanks

Amazing, such a simple issue yet no one has any suggestions how to fix it. I bet everyone whos viewed this thread knows how to fix it

So sad!

Try moving the latest module to position "Content Top". You will probably need to remove the "Recent Activity" module or change its position from "Column Left" to something else.

If that doesn't work, open the file catalog/view/theme/buyexpress/stylesheet/stylesheet.css

and paste this code at the end of the file:

Code: Select all
.tabs {
    width: 100%!important;
}
.product-box .box-content {
    width: 100%!important;
}
.tabs .box-product {
    width: 100%!important;
}
.tabs .box-product .item:nth-child(4n+0) {
    border-right: 0;
}

.tabs .box-product .item:nth-child(3n+0) {
    border-right: 1px solid #E1E1E1;
}
